SpRiNg has SpRuNg!

Yep!
Spring has sprung all around & definitely at Altered Pages
All the Design Team seem to have the FEVER & are busy creating kits with some of the many Spring & Easter collage sheets!
{Check ALL the kits out here!}

Hi! Becky V. here today! Some of you may have already seen some of the kits on the site recently, but I wanted to share a little more of a peek at mine, a SPRING Banner kit!

In the spirit of Spring, I made this banner kit because I couldn't resist the flower seed images & these women on Jean's site! They just spoke to me!! And, I've always wanted to hang a sweet banner in my home!

The kit is chock-full of amazing goodies to create a banner as close to mine as possible (all 6 flags)!!
Here's what the FABULOUS Jean has pulled together for the kit:

"You receive chipboard, tart tins, German Glass Glitter, collages, text pages, muslin and other fabric pieces.  You also get a foam paint brush, ink pad, paper flowers, lace, ribbon, beads and gems with additional embellishments.  The best part is the photos and complete instructions.  It's a HUGE kit with so many supplies!  (embellishments may vary)"
And it's only $34.99!!! What a deal to create such a fun decor piece, right?!!

Here's a close up of a few of the "flags"...
I worked super hard on this kit & included with all the goodies are step-by-step instructions (with photos!) on what I did & where for the flags!
I hope you'll hop on over to Altered Pages & check it out, as well as all the other great products & collage sheets for your mixed media needs!!
Cheers!

  1. Gorgeous stuff! and WOW do we include everything but the kitchen sink! Embellishments will vary from Kit to Kit, but be similar. We don't want everyone to have excatly the same finished project.

 Handy Tip for Artists, Recyclers and Neat Freaks! I have a follow-up to the Citra-Sol method for creating fabulous background pages and collages.   I bought a big bag of navel oranges and realized I had the ingredients to make my own solvent!   Simply take a clean glass jar, peel the rind from the oranges and place all the rind/peels, without the pulp (tangerines, oranges, navels) into the jar.   Pour enough vinegar over the peels to cover them.    Allow the jar to sit for a week or two and VOILA!     You have made your own solvent for literally pennies.    You will notice the liquid getting a bit thicker than the plain vinegar and it does not smell bad!!! I now have a  HUGE jar on the window sill!       Be careful and only use this after testing on a safe spot.
